London Boat Show at Excel, Docklands (January 2004)
This was the first show at Excel in the London Docklands in the history of the London Boat Show. Attendances were higher than at the previous venue (Earl's Court), and we were very pleased with the outcome.
We
introduced new paintings for this show including Karen Smith, Henderson
Cisz, Mary Shaw, Wilfred etc. Our model ships attracted as many vistors
if not more than Earls court.
Southampton Boat Show (September 2004)
This ran from 10th to the 19th of September 2004. As is usually the case, we were on our feet non-stop for 10 days, and managed to have a very successful show.
Spirit of Christmas Show (November 2004)
This was our first attendance at this show. The show has been running for four years having won two Silver awards for best Consumer exhibition, with 25,000 visitors all anxious to do their Christmas Shopping. The 500 exhibitors are vetted by House and Gardens Magazine, and we are pleased to be part of this select membership.
The show ran from Wednesday 3rd November to Sunday 7th November.

Exhibitions & Shows attended
The London Boat Show 2003 was a very successful show for us. The combination of maritime art, frames and paintings, combined with high quality nautical items and our ship models, proved to be a winning one. We were even interviewed and featured in the All at Sea’s Boat Show News.
As we are getting known at the shows, we are now attracting more made to order model ships from fellow exhibitors. These have so far included canal boats, catamarans and powerboats.
2002 Maritime Exhibitions & Boat Show
Chatham Navy Days, organised by the Chatham
Historic Dockyard Trust, ran from the 2nd to the 4th of June. This show
was an official Golden Jubilee event, with crowds exceeding 100,000.
Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race, organised by In Events Limited, ran from the 15th to the 18th of August. Almost 100 Tall Ships with over 4,000 international crew sailed to Portsmouth Harbour, the final port of the 2002 Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race. The turnout was estimated at 300,000 people.
Focus on 2002 Boat Shows and Exhibitions
Both shows ran in January 2002, and were very successful (and tiring!) for us. Visitors and buyers were very complimentary of our ship models and we even featured in the number of magazines.
We acquired new trade clients, who we hope to turn into life-long business partners and friends.
Boat Shows in 2001In 2001, we attended the following exhibitions and festival.
Trade exhibition
Organised by the British Marine Industry Federation and National Boat Shows Limited, at Windsor race course. This trade show lasted for three days in October 2001.
We acquired new trade clients as a result of this show. Of particular interest was a trade request for a custom made ship model of the HMS Trincomalee which featured in the January 2002 edition of Traditional Boats and Tall Ships magazine. We have since added this ship model to our own range, which has proved to be a bestseller.
